Franco Ionda is an Italian painter. After graduating from the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence, he began his artistic career by continuing his studies in Salzburg and Finland. From abstract painting he developed his own language, focusing on the themes of society and the everyday condition of human being.
Aiming at creating poetic vibration through a modernist fervor and a poetic melancholy, in his works the artist uses metal and aluminum pigments with a lack of any decorative intent.
