Tornabuoni Art is pleased to participate in the exhibition ‘Germana Marucelli (1905-1983). A visionary at the origins of Made in Italy’ through the loan of the work “Intersuperficie curva verde” (1966) by Paolo Scheggi.
The exhibition celebrates the revolutionary Florentine fashion designer Germana Marucelli with a backward journey from the 1980s to the late 1940s. About 150 pieces will be on display here, including clothes, jewelry, photographs, sketches and works of art by Italian artists with whom Marucelli collaborated, such as Paolo Scheggi,
In addition, the exhibition recreates the environments central to the designer’s activity, including the atelier designed by Scheggi in 1964, in which visitors can immerse themselves to fully understand the places and at the historical moment when fashion was taking shape.
