Tornabuoni Art is glad to announce the loan of the work ‘Concetto spaziale, attese.’ (1959) by Lucio Fontana for the exhibition ‘La luce del nero’ held at Ex Seccatoi del Tabacco in Città di Castello, the exhibition venue of Fondazione Palazzo Albizzini Collezione Burri.
Curated by Bruno Corà, the exhibition offers a perceptive experience of the colour black through works declined in different forms, materials and techniques by artists such as Burri, Agnetti, Bassiri, Bendini, Castellani, Fontana, Hartung, Kounellis, Lo Savio, Morris, Nevelson, Nunzio, Parmiggiani, Schifano, Soulages and Tàpies.
After seven years of work, the exhibition celebrates the reopening of the venues of the Ex Seccatoi del Tabacco, a manufacturing area previously created by Burri himself aiming at hosting his large cycles works.
