CUBO, Museo d’Impresa del Gruppo Unipol – Bologna

Tornabuoni Art is pleased to announce the loan of four works by Alberto Burri ‘Catrame’ (1950, cm 65×80), ‘Senza titolo’ (1952), ‘Muffa’ (1951) and ‘Catrame’ (1950, cm 92×110) for the exhibition ‘ALBERTO BURRI Reloaded’ at the two Bologna venues of CUBO, Museo d’Impresa del Gruppo Unipol.
Curated by Ilaria Bignotti, the show brings back to the public ‘Nero con punti’ (1958), one of the most significant works among Alberto Burri’s ‘Sacchi’, putting the monumentality of the work in a new light after a long restoration.
The exhibition continues at Unipol Torre with an innovative dialogue between the four works coming from our gallery, investigating – together with the majestic ‘Nero con punti’ – the various aspects related to the secrets of the use of matter in Burri’s work.
The exhibition will be open until January 21, 2023.
