Tornabuoni Art Paris presents the largest retrospective on Enrico Castellani ever assembled in France.
Curated by Bernard Blistène, this exhibition brings together over 45 artworks (from 1960 to 2007) that reconstruct a complete overview of the artist’s body of works.
Castellani participated in the evolution of the European artistic avant-garde in the 1950s and 1960s. As co-founder with Piero Manzoni of Azimuth and participant in the Zero group, he knew how to combine the poetry of the monochrome with his quest for a platform creating a unique language. This language would, in turn, be a precursor for all future experiences in the contemporary art world.
