Ceci-n_est-pas-une-idée-2015-1

Tornabuoni Art gallery presents from January 15 to March 6 2015, Ceci n’est pas une idée, curated by Gino Pisapia.

The title of the exhibition, borrowed from a work by Italian artist Emanuele Becheri and inspired by the work of Belgian artist René Magritte, is born from a desire to question the very concept of the quote and its possible variations.

The exhibition Ceci n’est pas une idée includes a rich selection of works, highlighting the different artistic practices that make up this collective story, the fruit of research on works from the past.
