Infinita infanzia
23 March – 9 June 2024
Palazzo Collicola | Musei Civici di Spoleto
Spoleto
Tornabuoni Art is delighted to participate in the show ‘Infinita infanzia’ through the loan of the work ‘Punizioni (non si deve fare la lotta di-in classe)’ by Maurizio Cattelan.
Curated by Saverio Verini, the group show takes inspiration from the essay ‘La stagione fatata’ written by Verini.
The exhibition expands research on the theme of childhood, identifying it not only as a golden age, but also as a stage of life characterized by multiple components, between discovery and trauma, play and disobedience, carefreeness and anxieties.
Painting, video, installation, photography and performance are the different languages that characterize the works on display, converging in an exhibition that, through numerous media, offers a transversal reading of Italian art over the last fifty years, including established and emerging names from Maurizio Cattelan to Simona Weller, historicized movements and recent trends.
The will be open until June 9, 2024.
