Tornabuoni Art is pleased to participate in the exhibition ‘Osvaldo Licini: Rebellious Angel’ through the loan of the work “Missile on a Yellow Background” (1954).
For the first time in a British museum, the Estorick Collection is devoting a solo exhibition to Osvaldo Licini, an Italian artist characterized by a playful and poetic style that produced some of the most distinctive and idiosyncratic images in 20th-century Italian art history.
The exhibition brings together some 50 of his most significant paintings and explores each phase of the artist’s endlessly creative career, presenting and typically exuberant.
The exhibition will be on view until September 10, 2023.
