Tornabuoni Art is delighted to participate in the exhibition ‘Dans l’air, les machines volantes’ through the loan of the work ‘Aerei’ (1983) by Alighiero Boetti.
This inaugural exhibition opens HANGAR Y, the new French exhibition space, and pays homage to the original function of the venue with a show entirely dedicated to flying machines.
Curated by Marie-Laure Bernadac in collaboration with Blanche de Lestrange, the exhibition presents works by artists from all over the world, exploring the universal fascination with flight and the numerous inventions that have made it possible, focusing on how these means of elevation and transport in the air have inspired artists over time.
The exhibition will be on view until 10 September 2023.
