Giuseppe Chiari (Florence, 1926-2007) was an Italian artist and musician, and Italian exponent of the international art movement Fluxus. In the 1960s, he began his experiments, including graphic works based on the component of musical score. Compositions no longer created to be played and listened to, but observed. His performances and concerts were frequent throughout the world. From the 1980s onward, his musical scores were flanked by collages, compositions with musical instruments.
